CNA Days 3 & 4

Well these last couple days of CNA class have been surprisingly fun. I mean like laughing all day type of fun and i never thought i would be able to have that kind of fun with these people. Its pretty much been quite the experience for me, so when i wake up these are the things i first look at....

And this is what I come home looking like!!!!

We were learning about the different types of N-95 (?) masks you could wear for airborne diseases, we call this one the "duck bill." I tried to surprise my Mothing walking in the door, as she tired to scare me by hiding behind the door! HA! Needless to say, we both suffered.

P.S. We learned how to change a diaper, how to take blood pressure, how to transfer a patient from a bed to a chair or a wheel chair, how to use a hoyer, how to transfer a patient to X-ray, I got two shots (one for TB testing, and one for flu vaccine), I got my lame physical (they hardly tested anything), what to do in case of a fire, how to discard biohazards, and about infectious disease....good stuff.

The Biggest Yard Sale in the Valley

This will be a posting of the pictures i took of the random objects you find at yard sales. Since this was an entire town yard sale that lasted most of the day it should be interesting. I was hoping to find a real leather holster at some place since its all pretty hickville-ish over in the valley, but to my demise there were none, not a single flipping one. Effed am I. The Rail

You have to stop at the bar on the way in, it makes the food taste better.

Waitress: "Can I start you ladies off with anything?"

Me: "Another beer, and some wine dammit! (please?)"

Waitress: "Here is some soup and bread while you are deciding."

Me: "Is this soup made out of beer?"

Waitress: "How about some salad?"

Me: "Hell yeah!"

(The simplest, best tasting salad EVER!)

Waitress: "Do you ladies know what you are having this evening?"

Me: "Uh, yes. I will have the lamb steak, medium rare."

Waitress: "Do you want garlic on that?"

Me: "Is that a question?"

Waitress: "And our side tonight, is Spanish rice, enjoy."

Me: "I wish it was Sunday, so I could have some ravioli side instead."

Waitress: "Is there anything else I can get for you ladies?"

Me: "Uh, how about another side of sour cream? Oh! And another beer!"

Me: "I think my steaks look better than this, but I guess that is the difference between beef and lamb. Man that garlic looks good."

So I didn't end up eating any of my steak or potatoes until the following evening, but I tried some of everything else. I think I was more about the drinking than the eating at this point in the day, after all it was about 1900 hours.

My Mothing always tries to tell me to act more maturely, and just because I like to do childish things, does mean that I am immature. To me mature equals responsible, and I think that I am responsible.

Anyway, one good thing about BBQing meat:

is that you get left-overs!

So many things to read, so much time to not read them.

Eff, today I ate some badass tacos from grandma's house and they were so good, only I didn't have my camera with me because I forgot it.

I rode around town on my bike today and almost died trying to film some stock footage for a video that I am making. But then I went to watch some "tru" TV and let me tell you that is entertainment!!!

Later we looked at some guns before playing the Wii....

And yes that is a pink .22 rifle...hahahha good one, Ash won it at something that i don't remember the name of. And yes, Ashlea won it, hahha she also won tags...unlike someone else.

Wii fitness score for the day, 33! Hell yes! Ash jinxed me otherwise I would have been higher!

And I want to watch Whip It really really bad. Also I am not happy to admit that I will probably do a Davis visit during the time of New Moon and that is ridiculous because ugh I hate supporting that shit.

Is that Dakota Fanning? Holy shit she is old now. Wow, ok whatever though...stupid teenage girl sweep.

The dolphins lost vs. the Colts.. I am really upset about the last 5 min defense and the 32 second Colt run. Whatever we are developing and show promise....looking on the bright side I suppose. I think the rest of the game went well and I am really shocked at the new offense, a little more options and it will be unstoppable. However, the defense needs to get it together. When you are on a ten plus year come back you can't skimp on the D.

On another note when watching the recent GLEE episode I noticed a slightly familiar tone:

Did I once sing that walking, no skipping, down the church halls? Why yes, yes I did; I could never be more proud of myself as I am right now. Except I think I probably sang it better!

Now on to the food. We had buffalo burgers wrapped in fresh bacon to start.

Buffalo tastes like a cow and a rabbit had a baby burger together only a little less chewy.

A very good salad with jalapeno ranch dressing.

OMG, butter potatoes! So ggoooooooodd.

Venison and antelope!

Venison tastes like beef steak only more gamey, and really tender. Antelope tastes like venison only kind of like it melts in your mouth, a little grainy though.
