Cedarville!

I took PhamPham and rjenna to Cedarville to see my hospital friends and say goodbye to my mothing and on our way out of town (we went the back way to Reno), this is what they thought was awesome.

It is funny because when I am looking through those pictures on my computer, it looks like PhamPham just disappears from that second to last picture. I guess you would need to see to understand what the fuck I am talking about. That is okay, I am okay with you thinking that I am cray cray to the max extreme.

I found this really cool website it is called "I Write Like," and you paste some text from things that you have written and it will tell you what author you write like. So far I have been David Foster Wallace, Agatha Christie, Raymond Chandler, and Stephen King. Weird pairings. Have fun searching and stay tuned for a possible new blog soon...I keep talking about it and not doing it, I need to stop talking about it and do it, that was a note to self, by the way.

And for your enjoyment:

Lady Gaga

So everyone already knows how obsessed I am with this song, since like Christmas:

So this is the conversation I just had with my mothing:

me: (listening to bad romance)
mothing: (♫ i want your loving.....♫)
me: o_O ????????
mothing: (walks away)
me: scoop, hold on i gotta check this out; mothing? how do you know lady gaga????
mothing: who is lady gaga?
me: you were just singing her!!!
mothing: maybe because I listen to 70's and 80's music?
me: baHAHAHAHAHAHaaaaaa, what? no! (walk away)

For every mystery, there is someone, somewhere, that knows the truth. Perhaps that someone is reading. Perhaps...it's YOU! If you have any information on this case, please write to us in the comment section...You need not give your name. Authorities need your help. This program is about unsolved mysteries. The re-enactments and special effects are actual eye-witness accounts. What you have read is not a news broadcast.

Bonfire!

Well a week ago we had a bonfire and it was pretty tight. It all started when Ash started drinking at like 1530, what a champ. Anyway, I guess Coal was up there drinking with her and then finished a 12er by the time I got there, needless to say it was a pretty toasted night (as you can tell from the smiles-not that we aren't happy people, shiny-happy people....dancing).

This next one is actually a really good picture I think.

Pretty cool shot from a hill.

FIIIIIRRRRREEEEEE!

It was a pretty big flame, good thing too because it was balls cold out there.

The stars were really pretty though.

And I made it to work on time the next day too...I am such a trooper. Tonight is Mothing's birthday celebration because she was working yesterday and I was sick (puking my guts out). So we are going to go to the Rail and probably the Rose. Have a nice weekend, I will be in Redding tomorrow, maybe I will see something cool. Also, tonight the wind was blowing really hard and the sun was setting, so to the West there was a patch of light, bright blue sky with clouds lining over it that had that sunray light around it. Then to the East the sky was, I kid you not, periwinkle! I took some pictures and will look later to see if the camera caught the magic of it all, but textbook periwinkle. The only thing that was lacking was unicorns and I would have thought I was in a fairytale. Aw.

P.s. Have I mentioned how excited I am that the year is 2010? 1020, 2010, same thing only one is backwards. Ha!

Lunch with Mothing

Last week my Mothing and I shared a delicious lunch, here is how it was done:

Make some meat, this was round steak, cut up, mixed with various sauces and spices.

Then you take a spinach tortilla and melt a little cheese on it. mmmMMMMmmm.

Add some topping like cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, A1 sauce, and Uncle Franks....and cheese!

This is what you get, a delicious nutritious lunch to share with anyone you want! Boy, am I hungry now!

Christmas at Grandmas, always a grand time.

Every year on Christmas Eve, the whole family gets together up at my grandmas house. There is lots of good food, drinks, and I am pretty much the life of the party (as always - just kidding). All the family comes in from all across the US and we pretty much eat, take pictures, drink, and open a shit ton of presents! My mothing got another shot glass....how appropriate.

This is the family picture of my cousin Bridgey and Aunt Janis.

Here is Ash sitting with Grandma.

My brother trying to tend bar. He fed one of my cousins so much schnapps that he fell out of the truck and then puked his guts out. Bad bartender Richie.

Bill made it to the festivities.

My brother sort of looks like a Beatle with that long hair.

They were supposed to take a nice picture, and then Matilda smacked Dakota in the face; I got the evidence - evil little child!

Cousin Joe hates pictures, but Ash wants a good one.

Little Jakey loved Bill!

Christmas would not be Christmas without me trying to do something crazy to Kitten. Man he loves me! Just look at his face!

Here is Jenny's family shot: Willy, Jenny, Uncle, Mike, Didi, and Monique!

This is my family photo, but I don't know why Jakey is in there with us, he must want to switch families.

Ash had to get a pic with Bill too! All the kids were all over her all night it was pretty interesting, they must not get to see her that often. Or she must be a nice person I haven't figured it out.

This is my amazing photo, view with caution.

Here are my favorite Aunt Lori and Uncle Jimmy! Who by the way gave me the coolest present ever!

That about sums up the night. The next day we went back to Grandma's for some Christmas dinner, we played monopoly I won. We played poker, I lost, and then we played again and I won $7 (we were playing with silver change). Booya!

What does Christmas and a cat at the beach have in common? (See bottom to find answer)

I am putting a star on the top of the tree.

This is the same stocking that I have ever had. My granny made it for me. It is cute.
The finished product.

Outside this crazy town

Well tomorrow or later today if we are being technical and apparently I am, I will be heading out of A-town in hopes of some more friend saturated areas. I will be back don't fret. Also check for a couple more updates including my movie marathon post, fort2k post, and also a very special happy birthday to my "cousin." Until then you can backtrack through old blogs you may not have read, or tell me that I am talking to no one! Either way. OMG I almost forgot, I can't go into town empty handed I need a joke! probably a couple Halloween ones would due....any suggestions? (By jokes, I don't mean the ones I am going to play on my friends....SHHHHH!!!)

Which reminds me of a Halloween joke from last year.... Something about a witch wanting a kid but something having a hallo-weenie....that wasnt true for jason --Zam! Congrats Ruth...but onto the joke..."Why did the ghost go to a bar?"....."He wanted the boo's!" -- POW! Anyway on a more serious note I was just telling my Mothing that I have never liked babies or pregnant people and I don't want kids myself, but today when Ruth, a person who I like and look up to, told us she was pregnant I felt an unexpected excitement. My Mothing confirmed those feelings by saying how she can't wait to hear the heart beat and see how fat Ruth gets...(my mom didn't say that about the fat part), but maybe I have never liked babies and pregnancies because I have never liked the mothing....I have often pondered what it would be like for Ash to get preggers again since we have gotten closer...and I thought, how fun that would be, except for the part where she can't drink with me anymore, and I AM NOT GETTING BABY FEVER AT ALL!!! because I don't want a kid, but I think it's fun to think about people I interact with having them. After all kids love me, I am like a bigger version of them that can take care of them but still enjoy the same things as they do. Well that said...adios A-town see ya Sunday, probably with a hangover from hell.

Makin' Pie

Peelin' apples is not an easy task.

Yes, thats my dinosaur apron, its ok to be jealous.

Thats my little cousin Hailey Sue!

We are stirring.

Ash is rollin' out the dough. (you can be jealous of her apron too, its cupcakes and has pockets.)

Beautiful crust!

I didn't know about this butter business until I looked at this picture...

Spidey pumpkin!

A witch pumpkin! and Batman puppy!

Perfection, we ate it with ice cream and caramel syrup!

Then my mothing treated us to a drink at Benny's...exciting times. We learned about my Grandpa and some members of my family. There was also a weirdish woman sitting at the bar that spoke to us as we ordered drinks. Also I would own a much cooler bar than any that are in this forsaken little town.
