Sick of Sarah

Basically,  I went to a concert when I was in Davis for Picnic Day. Here is the downlow. The band is sick, Jelly had a good time, until pukage, and I shouldn't have been driving! Now here are a couple pics...

The band doing their thing; rockin' out!

Apparently, we were standing in a corner, but it was super close to stage. I had a blast.

Now on to Picnic Day, I won't have pictures for a few more days because I didn't take any with my camera. I guess, according to police reports, hella shit went down this picnic day and now they are thinking about canceling it. WTF?! That gets a double WTF?! Are you kidding me, Picnic Day is the only reason to attend UCD! WTF ever. I am so over Davis if this happens. More to come.

Picnic Day!!!

This weekend I will be once again heading down to Davis until Tuesday! Then when I come back my mom will be gone until May 1st.  Party at my house! For those of you that do not know what picnic day is and are from Alturas:

Picnic day = College style Children's Fair  x 1Million + wiener dog races!

I will post pictures of my debauchery upon my return, so beware. Other than that have a wonderful weekend and for those of you attending picnic day See you there!

This program is brought to you by these commercial messages.

Sunday afternoon Mai Tai's were brought to you by boredom and sunshine.

We also felt the need to throw some shoes around. Because 01: I need to practice, so I don't disgrace myself in front of my family and 02: there was nothing else to do.

This is what a ringer looks like!

This is the cutest little kid I have ever seen! (and possibly the only one). Meet "Baby Corn"! What other name could you give the kid having a father named Corn Nuts, and a mother named Sally.

Isn't he adorable!?!?!? Also sometimes in Alturas when you get bored, you drink four bottles of Sparkling Wine mixed with vodka. And you do it like you mean it, and by that I mean really janky. Make-shift ice chest because there are not any chilled bottles around this town and it so happened to have snowed. See even nature wants us to drink.

Dill pickle seeds are the grubbin' in a bag. And I meant to put the grubbin', I am trying something out. :)

Bonfire!

Well a week ago we had a bonfire and it was pretty tight. It all started when Ash started drinking at like 1530, what a champ. Anyway, I guess Coal was up there drinking with her and then finished a 12er by the time I got there, needless to say it was a pretty toasted night (as you can tell from the smiles-not that we aren't happy people, shiny-happy people....dancing).

This next one is actually a really good picture I think.

Pretty cool shot from a hill.

FIIIIIRRRRREEEEEE!

It was a pretty big flame, good thing too because it was balls cold out there.

The stars were really pretty though.

And I made it to work on time the next day too...I am such a trooper. Tonight is Mothing's birthday celebration because she was working yesterday and I was sick (puking my guts out). So we are going to go to the Rail and probably the Rose. Have a nice weekend, I will be in Redding tomorrow, maybe I will see something cool. Also, tonight the wind was blowing really hard and the sun was setting, so to the West there was a patch of light, bright blue sky with clouds lining over it that had that sunray light around it. Then to the East the sky was, I kid you not, periwinkle! I took some pictures and will look later to see if the camera caught the magic of it all, but textbook periwinkle. The only thing that was lacking was unicorns and I would have thought I was in a fairytale. Aw.

P.s. Have I mentioned how excited I am that the year is 2010? 1020, 2010, same thing only one is backwards. Ha!

Super Bowl Sunday!

First just let me mention that Dolphin fans were in the house, well in the kitchen at least! Ash was wearing a stylish Dolphin sweater, I was wearing my -yep you guessed it- Dan Marino Jersey, Baby Kangaroo is actually a Dolphin fan (so he counts), and Jenna was wearing a Dolphin shirt, AND later a Dolphin sweater (that was not as stylish as Ash's but just as cool).

Second we need to talk about betting. It's bad news kids. I won a 30 pack, 3 people had to shot gun a beer, and Guam owes me 2 pitchers! Boom. Shove that up your tits (new British phrase, I like it).

Here are the pictures that I don't remember taking:

Yum, hot sauce.

The Spread.

Yum, peppers.

We were festive.

Hahahaha.

CNA Test (Finally)

Well way back in January I had to go re-take my skills portion of my CNA test because I am an idiot that can (i repeat CAN) take blood pressure. So here are the picks from the party we had on the Thursday before (the test was on a Sat).

This is the beer you get at pizza. 33.6 ounces of goodness.
This is how you eat pizza with Uncle Franks hot sauce, the only way to eat pizza.

This is something Hiu tried to steal the night before, you don't get bar status like that ;).

This is me, Guam, and Jaret. We look happy, we must be drunk.

Cute.

This is the beginning of an epic Street Fighter II parking lot fight. (China vs. Hawaii/America) She is blocking his attack.

Blanka Shock, Dhalsim yoga hands.

Dorothy vs China

Zen after the battle.

Amazing. Night.

After all that we walked home from the pub to Hiu's. We stopped and drank V-8 and vodka (Gag - and I thought I was cut off vodka? wtf?). Oh and I passed my test.

Monday Night Blues

Wait, not blues - kegs, not kegs - keg. Shortly after I received a text from Ash mentioning keg beer, her, Baby Kangaroo and myself were drowning our Monday Blues away. A couple friends, a baby, and departure/return from Baby Kangaroo later, and we were listening to this:

And if you want to know, "Are you smarter than a 5th grader...?" The answer is always going to be NO; 5th graders know everything, or haven't you got the memo?

***Spoiler: Even if your 5th grader answers the question wrong you still have say, "I am not as smart as a 5th grader." (shakes head and walks away) - go figure.

We like to go on adventures!

We got kicked out Scoop's but he recommended that we go and play at Twin Peaks. Here are the results:

I think this picture is amazing.

rjenna thinks this view is amazing, and I agree.

And then there was a huge fire! We watched the fire trucks drive to it and everything! And they took a hella long time to reach that thing!

And we went hiking on an unmarked trail by accident.

Then we stopped in Pacifica! rjenna loves this beach because of all the surfers.

We had a peaceful time.

One guy made a rock structure. We took many pictures of it, because rjenna liked it.

Many people passed by this sacred rock and some even practiced the ancient carrying methods of old.

Ten pictures later I snapped this perfect pic of rjenna. Classic. You can't really tell, but some surfer totally just wiped out on that wave - hahaha. I was trying to get him in the picture only riding the wave, but he crashed too soon. :(

Anyway, give us some free time and a car and we will make it a day to remember always.

Happy Birthday to Ash!

Tonight I am dressing up as a football player and Guam is going to be a ref, and Jenna is going to be another football player. Today is Ash's birthday and here is something you should watch:

Outside this crazy town

Well tomorrow or later today if we are being technical and apparently I am, I will be heading out of A-town in hopes of some more friend saturated areas. I will be back don't fret. Also check for a couple more updates including my movie marathon post, fort2k post, and also a very special happy birthday to my "cousin." Until then you can backtrack through old blogs you may not have read, or tell me that I am talking to no one! Either way. OMG I almost forgot, I can't go into town empty handed I need a joke! probably a couple Halloween ones would due....any suggestions? (By jokes, I don't mean the ones I am going to play on my friends....SHHHHH!!!)

Which reminds me of a Halloween joke from last year.... Something about a witch wanting a kid but something having a hallo-weenie....that wasnt true for jason --Zam! Congrats Ruth...but onto the joke..."Why did the ghost go to a bar?"....."He wanted the boo's!" -- POW! Anyway on a more serious note I was just telling my Mothing that I have never liked babies or pregnant people and I don't want kids myself, but today when Ruth, a person who I like and look up to, told us she was pregnant I felt an unexpected excitement. My Mothing confirmed those feelings by saying how she can't wait to hear the heart beat and see how fat Ruth gets...(my mom didn't say that about the fat part), but maybe I have never liked babies and pregnancies because I have never liked the mothing....I have often pondered what it would be like for Ash to get preggers again since we have gotten closer...and I thought, how fun that would be, except for the part where she can't drink with me anymore, and I AM NOT GETTING BABY FEVER AT ALL!!! because I don't want a kid, but I think it's fun to think about people I interact with having them. After all kids love me, I am like a bigger version of them that can take care of them but still enjoy the same things as they do. Well that said...adios A-town see ya Sunday, probably with a hangover from hell.

Breast Cancer Walk

Aye Yigh Yigh!
Boy, I look awkward!

Uh, the song "Ring my Bell" is playing in my head right now....

Omg, we found a dead snake in the road....perfect.

So basically we walked for almost three hours after a night of drinking. We gave them a total of $70 including our registration fee. We ate bottle shop sandwiches with extra chiles....GRUBBIN"!!! Then we went to four different stores and decorated for Halloween! We still need to make graves and do some more but we got distracted, you'll see why in another blog.

Someone start the car...

Today I had a hangover in the expression of extreme exhaustion and a head ache, with a slight possibility of light headedness. I woke up still drunk and as the day progressed, so did the hangover. Finally, I biked home and drank some soda. Two hours later, I was healed. I read a book. I watched a movie. I put some things on a shelf. I typed some stuff. And that is pretty much how I got to this stage in my day. There are some weird things on the wall. Movies I watched today: The Little Mermaid (always a favorite), Cars (so good), part of Alice in Wonderland (still haven't seen it all), and this (default for movie watching in my house):
